Meet James and Keshia Brown two inspirational millennials who have set about making a positive change in Hampton Roads. James in ministry and Keshia in medicine. The Browns have two young sons, James Jr. age six and Jaxon Emory age one. The couple met while they were students at Indian River High where she played basketball and he was on the golf team. After graduation, the two attended different universities. James attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA while Keshia attended Hampton University in Hampton, VA. The Browns married in their mid 20's in 2011 and with two young children and non-stop careers, they are fortunate to have both sets of grandparents nearby who provide lots of helping hands.  Keshia’s mother lends a hand by keeping Jaxon during the day and her father helps fill in the busy schedule when James is away. They strive to make a lasting impact on the community in which they serve and the world around them.
